Welcome to the West Kirby Disabled Swimming Club! We are a supportive community made up of individuals with various disabilities, including strokes, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries, and amputations. Our club provides a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to participate in swimming activities. We meet every Friday at our local swimming baths, where we have the necessary facilities, including a hoist, to assist all members. Our dedicated team of helpers is always on hand to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and supported during their swim sessions.
In addition to our regular sessions, we organise exciting trips away twice a year to places like Blackpool, allowing our members to enjoy a unique experience together. We also celebrate together with festive events, such as a Christmas party and a summer gathering, fostering friendships and community spirit. Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or new to the water, everyone is welcome to join us. Your journey towards enjoying swimming in a friendly atmosphere starts here, and we would love for you to be part of our club!
